Founded by perovskite technology trailblazers
Born as a spinoff of the Centre for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy (CHOSE) of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Solertix is now a European hub for research and innovation. It’s a deep-tech innovation centre specialising in the technological development of third-generation perovskite photovoltaic cells and their upscaling for industrial applications.

Solertix is a holding company of the FuturaSun Group, specialising in developing and manufacturing highly efficient photovoltaic modules and cells. Established in Cittadella in the province of Padua, Italy, FuturaSun is an international group operating in over 70 countries spanning Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia, where its flagship manufacturing facility boasts an outstanding yearly capacity of 1 GigaWatt.
